For my first draft I designed the CD hatching and the back cover of my digipak as I knew the ideas for these would be hard for me to come up with therefore I did a first draft on paper. I knew the designs for the other two faces of the digipak would come naturally to me once on Photoshop creating a second draft.
My ideas:
For the CD I wanted the name of the artist and the album name on there therefore I designed the CD to have these two things. I also wanted a picture of the artist herself on the CD as I had seen this done on real life texts such as albums from P!nk and Rihanna. I wanted the typography to fit in with the genre of the album which is love therefore I chose an effective curly italic style font to create this. The album name is still undecided so for now I have used the name of the real life artists Arianna Grande's album name as a stand in for what I will choose to name my own album.
The back cover of the digipak will contain an image of the sea and the sand interlocking with eachother. This will bring symbolism from the music video creating a feeling moving away and breaking free which willl be shown through the water moving around freely whereas the sand is stuck to the spot. The symbolism will be Izzy Bella as the water and her ex as the sand staying the same and not changing. I have also drawn in a light floaty/curly font the word 'love' which I will draw in the sand to create a good looking effect. This should be easy to create and will set the scene for the albums theme. Again for the song titles I have used the ones from Arianna's album until I come up with my own so for now it shows something on the design.
